Mary Jane Reyes from Mabinay, Negros Oriental produces turmeric tea, an herbal product that is starting to make waves in the country.

Turmeric tea relieves digestive and liver problems and is a powerful anti-oxidant that helps in the prevention of cancer.

With the help of NWTF’s microfinance program, Project Dungganon, Mary Jane ventured in producing this wonder tea that eventually became a successful business endeavor.

On November 17, 2010, Mary Jane received the CITI Microentrepreneur of the Year Masikap Visayas Award.
