Our Institutions
Over the years, NWTF has expanded its services to cater to clients who are now capable of availing individual loans or for those who are in need of banking services.
NWTF – NGO (Non-Government Organization)
Project Dungganon

This project is based on the Grameen credit methodology. Dr. Cecilia del Castillo was one of the delegates sent to India to learn this system and establish this project in 1986. “Dungganon” is a Hiligaynon word for honorable.
Project Kasanag
In 2000, NWTF piloted this individual lending program in Bacolod City. This credit assistance is designed to assist the urban micro-entrepreneurs engaged in manufacturing, trading, buy and sell, service and shop-keeping to enable them to improve their quality of life and be instrumental in the economic progress of the community. “Kasanag” is a Hiligaynon word which means light that offers hope.
Dungganon Bank Inc.
On December 3, 2003, NWTF submitted an application for a bank license to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). On July 29, 2004, a license was granted to establish a microfinance thrift bank. The transformation of Project Dungganon into a regulated financial institution signified “professionalization” of services, legitimizing and increasing deposit taking activities, and being able to avail of facilities offered by the BSP.
DO-IT Foundation, Inc.
Due to the growing needs and demand for technological and operational advancements of both the NGO and the thrift bank, the MIS Department of NWTF underwent a spin-off resulting to the launching of its own I.T. company named DO-IT Foundation (Dungganon Office of Information Technology). DO-IT will also cater to the software needs of other NGO’s and microfinance institutions.
